Over 1,300 new companies were registered in Andalucia last November, that’s one every 34 minutes, according to new government figures.
Total capital for the new companies amounted to €65 million with more than 99% registered as limited companies. Malaga was home to 35% of the new companies, followed by Seville (23%).
The type of companies created varied but the biggest presence was from trade and repair firms, accounting for 44% of the total. More than 24% of new companies were set up by women with many focused on the business services sector.
